In order to be eligible to continue to receive Title I funds while working to comply with specific statutory and regulatory requirements, the Department of Education entered into a compliance agreement with the United States Department of Education on August 29, 2008. The attached action steps provide a detailed plan and specific timeline for how the Department of Education will come into compliance with the Title I standards and assessment requirements.
